Settings
The Classic is the most practical style.
The setting consists of simple round wires; the prongs of the Navette settings, for example, are chevron-shaped in order to cover and protect the most fragile tips of the stones. Aesthetically it produces a harmonious mounting that’s suitable for all medium and small cuts of stone.

The Imperial is the most substantial style.
The setting consists of 6 prongs of round wire, obviously in proportion to the size of the setting, a lower edge again of round wire and a thicker upper edge with wire of a larger diameter but already prepared for embedding the stone. This style is normally used for cuts of medium to large size and to give the mounting a more regal effect, especially if it is made up of only a few gems.

The Elegant is the most malleable style.
The setting is made up of 4 prongs of round wire, obviously in proportion to the size of the Setting, and a lower and upper edge also of round wire. This style is normally used for small to large size cuts and it leaves the tips of the drop and Navette cuts free so that the stone can be seen in full and not covered, as it is in the case of the chevron.

The Easy style is the simplest.
The setting consists of 3 prongs, one pre-embedded and the others of round wire; the upper edge is also already pre-arranged for the embedding.
A particular feature of this style are the sloping edges that allow substantial volume to be created inside, even in the simplest compositions. It is normally used for medium to small cuts.
